A 38-40 Cowboy-style profile with round nose, flat point, bevel base and lube grooves. Our bullets are finished in our gold Hi-Tek coating.

The standard size for our 38-40-180-FP-BB-LGs will be .401 and have a hardness of approximately 13 Brinell.

Shipped in vacuum sealed bags of 15 lbs, and containing approximately 573 bullets. This works out to be around 9-10 cents per projectile.

The length for this profile is approximately 0.593" or 15.07mm.

Q: Re. 38/40 180 Flat Point .401: bullet -- does the 'gold' plateing act as lube or should these be run through a lubrisizer? Thanks.

A: We do not do any gold plating on our products/bullets. We use a Gold colored Hi-Tek coating. The coating binds to the lead and acts as a lube on the bullets.
