The H&G #242 profile, with a button nose semi-wadcutter profile, flat base and lube grooves. Our bullets are finished in our gold Hi-Tek coating.
The standard size for our 45-160-SWC-FB-LGs will be
.452
and have a hardness of approximately 13 Brinell.
Shipped in vacuum sealed bags of 15 lbs, and containing
approximately
644 bullets. This works out to be around 8-9 cents per projectile.
The length for this profile is approximately 0.506" or 12.86mm.
*Note: "Special Sizes" (sizes that are not standard) may take longer to produce or there may be a low availability.

Great bullet profile. Very accurate at 50yd. The coating makes this a very clean bullet to load and shoot.

These are the best 160 grain bullets I have found. Cut a clean hole with even a reduced powder charge. I’m spoiled now. I don’t even want to use the ones I bought in Ohio this summer in fear that I would never find any good 160g bullets again.

Smallest 50 yard ten shot group
I have been a bullseye pistol shooter since 1959. I used your 160 Grain .452 bullet to fire my smallest ten shot group at fifty yards in a match at Eleanor, WV, put on by the Putnam County Gun Club in July, 2020.

Using this for the 25 yard line with frame mounted DOT and Kart barrelled custom 1911.. Holds X from a sandbag with 3.4 gn for BE, .469 crimp and .910-.920" base to edge. This is a very nice soft load for the short line.

Bullseye gold
Had trouble developing 50 yd load - fellow shooters recommend this over 4.4-4.6 gr of fast powder. Absolutely dead accurate at 50 yd with 4.4 gr WST. Even went to 72 yds iron sights and held 6”. Kart NM bbl. Same point of aim vs my 185 LSWC over 4.2 gr.

A:
We only sell projectiles with our Gold Hi-Tek coating on them. The coating acts as a lubricant on the projectile(s), but we do not sell any wax-lubed projectiles anymore.
